Proofing Your Photos and Selecting Favorites
You will receive a link to view your photo gallery on my website (which is hosted by Zenfolio.com). With these proofs (samples) you can make a set of favorites and send the list to me for editing, print requests, retouching, etc. Note that some services may cost an extra fee, depending on which photography package you selected.
You can also leave comments and indicate if/how you would like the photo re-cropped. The online gallery tools are a way to help us communicate.
Here is a video tutorial on the proofing process. You can review the How-To: Selecting Photos for additional help.
The Easy Way: Purchasing Through My Website
You can purchase almost any of the prints you see through the Client Gallery or elsewhere on the site. The order will be fulfilled by Zenfolio, which provides a money back guarantee for all prints. Also, all orders get double checked by me before going to print. This allows me to ensure that you've selected the best options for that size. The purchasing screens can be a little complex. Here are is a how-to videos. You can also skip to the bottom to read about purchasing directly through me.
Purchasing Direct (For Custom Orders)
If you prefer direct transactions, I accept Paypal and Google Checkout. Prices are similar to those available through the gallery, but I can offer additional options such as framing, mounting, greeting cards, and enlargements beyond what is available there. I can also provide bulk discounts. All items will still be of the same high quality from my professional lab.
I am a fan of frameless prints. I think it imparts a modern aesthetic that better highlights the image.
But which option should you choose? Styrene, gatorfoam, 3/4" standout? Here are some descriptions:
3/32″ thick, white matboard backing is our most inexpensive finishing option. Great for keeping small prints flat for framing, or for light marketing materials. Available up to 16×20.
Black & White Styrene
At approximately 3mm, styrene is made of a super durable, acid free plastic material. Thin enough to fit into a frame, yet strong enough to stand alone, or on an easel without worry of warping or denting. Available in both black and white and up to 30″x40″.
ProDPI White Foam
3/16″ thick, is the most popular addition to prints that are to be framed. Lightweight feel makes it easy to transport to marketing events or to be used as interchangeable displays around the studio.
ProDPI Black Foam
3/16″ thick and very similar to our white foam, but much more dense. With a plastic coating over the backing, this material provides you with a little more protection. It is resistant to warping, and great for stand alone displays.
3/4″ thick and intended to go right on to a wall without a frame, these lightweight boards have a heavy appearance, but are actually made of a lightweight, stiff foam core with a neutral colored panel backing. The sides of the boards are fully protected by black or white smooth matte paneling, giving your mount a fully finished and sealed look. The back panels contain pre-drilled holes making them easy to hang on simple nails or screws.
1 1/2″ Standouts
Exactly the same as our 3/4″ standouts only thicker at 1 1/2″. ProDPI suggests using a larger standout for larger prints to attain more depth off the wall.
